Summary:
As a part of the Engineering Department, the Reliability Engineer will develop and maintain systems to support plant activities (best practices of preventative and predictive maintenance, fluid monitoring, rotating seal maintenance, etc.), small project (
Accountabilities and
Responsibilities:
Provide support for Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Process Engineering to ensure a safe and efficient facility to produce quality materials.
Perform necessary functions to develop and maintain appropriate systems to meet expected plant reliability.
Lead / assist small projects or modifications as it relates to facility needs.
Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) knowledge preferred.
Responsible for training contractors and vendors for any work on site via appropriate policies and procedures.
All employees are required to adhere to DEA, EPA, FDA and cGMP regulations as they relate to the operation of the Company; and to adhere to all company safety rules and procedures. All employees are expected to report to work regularly and promptly. Other duties relating to departmental mission, not specifically detailed in this section may be assigned.
Requirements:
Preferred: BS Engineering; years of applicable experience will be considered as a substitute for degree.
Knowledge of cGMP equipment and manufacturing operations.
Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining systems such as: predictive maintenance, rotating seals and fluid monitoring is desired.
Demonstrated proficiency in windows based environment including word processing, spreadsheet, and data base programs.
