The Work-Study Lab Technician is an on-going Work-Study position and will possibly continue until the student's graduation date.
Reporting to the QA/QC Lab Manager and mentor, the Work-Study Lab Technician student will be exposed to the quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program for the ethanol plant to ensure maximum production quantity and quality. It is the intent of the Work-Study program to provide a valuable and beneficial learning experience.
Student must have availability to work during the Fall and Spring semester (weekdays and/or weekends 20-25 hours per week) and approximately 40 hours per week during the Summer. Options to work Summer-only may be considered.
Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a bachelors degree or associates degree in a science, agriculture, technology, or mathematics field from an accredited college, university, or junior college.
Must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or above required.
Experience with laboratory equipment found in an academic environment preferred.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and email necessary.
This Work-Study position may span multiple school semesters and requires the student be currently enrolled in college coursework. Student must live within commuting distance of ethanol plant (no housing is provided).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
