Job Description
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the Process Support Group (PSG) Supervisor will be responsible for directing the laboratory workflow, for daily laboratory testing of in process materials, environmental testing, validation transfer support, testing and release of raw materials, and for other duties, as assigned. This individual will provide management oversight, lab testing support and technical leadership for the site PSG program.
WORK SCHEDULE: 4-1-2-4 (4 days on, 1 off, 2 on, 4 off). The PSG Supervisor will have a 4-day weekend (off Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday) every other weekend.
Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain lab instrumentation, including equipment qualification, preventative maintenance, simple repairs, and troubleshooting

  • Lead training of analytical procedures and basic techniques

  • Supervise the process support workflow

  • Maintain lab systems and documentation

  • Provide lab on-call support coverage and environmental, raw material, in process and product releases

  • Coordinate and oversee outside testing for samples

  • Review completed lab testing as necessary to facilitate the preparation of timely reports

  • Perform chemical testing using analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-VIS

  • Perform chemical testing using standard compendial test methods and CCC developed methods, such as LOD, Heavy Metals, titrations, etc.

  • Transfer analytical methods as required

  • Maintain and manage cGMP and controlled substance systems in all QC/PSG labs at defined levels of compliance, developed with QA

  • Maintain open communication with Production Supervisors to ensure timely lab results

  • Troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and administer simple repairs as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Chemistry required, with a minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical experience in a cGMP environment

  • Advanced knowledge of analytical instrumentation operation (GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV-VIS, etc.) required

  • Strong chemistry knowledge with proven ability to handle demanding workload

  • Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
